Wheat prices Indonesia in 2012 is estimated stable because world wheat supplies are capable of sufficient demand. Fransiscus Welirang, Chairman of the Indonesian Wheat Flour Producers Association, said world wheat production in 2012 is relatively undisturbed and are expected to increase compared to the year 2011.

National wheat demand 2012 is estimated to rise 5.9% to 5.03 million tons from 2011 amounting to 4.75 million tons. Ratna Sari Loppies, Executive Director of the Indonesian Wheat Flour Producers Association, said the rise in wheat demand driven increase in raw material needs for national wheat flour industry.
