Rice Prices Commodity Information Vietnam Pakistan India Thailand

Commodity information rice prices in Vietnam rice sellers increased their quotes for 100% broken rice by about $5 per ton, while Pakistan rice sellers increased their quotes for parboiled rice by about $5 per ton.

Thailand 5% rice is quoted about $520 - $530 per ton, and about a $110 per ton premium over Vietnam 5% rice shown around $410 - $420 per ton. Indian 5% rice is indicated around $435 - $445 per ton, about on par with Pak 5% rice shown around $435 - $445 per ton.

Thailand 25% rice is indicated around $510 - $520 per ton, about a $135 per ton premium over Vietnam 25% rice, Indian 25% rice and Pakistan 25% rice, all shown around $375 - $385 per ton.

Thailand parboiled rice is quoted about $555 - $565 per ton. Indian parboiled rice is indicated around $435 - $445 per ton, about a $5 discount to Pakistan parboiled rice shown around $440 - $450 per ton, up about $5 per ton from yesterday.

Thailand broken rice, A1 Super, is indicated around $510 - $520 per ton, and about a $175 per ton premium over Vietnam broken rice shown around $335 - $345 per ton, up about $5 per ton from yesterday. Indian broken sortexed rice is quoted about $335 - $345 per ton, about a $10 per ton discount to Pakistan broken sortexed rice indicated around $345- $355 per ton.
